| The National Academic Archive Registrar
welcomes you.
You might wonder why you would ever need to archive your academic records when they are maintained by the institution where you earned your degree. Unfortunately, over 1200 institutions have closed their doors in the last 10 years. Retrieving a copy of your academic record if you were a student of one of those institutions can be an almost impossible task, and even if you do have a copy of your records, the closing of your institution has also left you without registrar services. The most important of these being the verification of your credentials. Institutions of higher learning will want your past academic records before allowing you to continue your education within their institution, but also consider that many employers will want to see your academic file no matter how long you have had a qualifying job with another company. Each year over 35 million background checks take place in the US. About 30 million of these background checks are conducted by corporations or verification services in an effort to verify the credentials of a potential employee, and about 5 million are conducted each time a promotion of an employee is considered. A survey of corporate recruiters has shown that 33% of all job candidates failed to produce verified credentials, and when multiple verified credentials (two - three institutions) were required that the number of applicants that failed to produce verified credentials increased to 77% of all job candidates. Another survey of corporate recruiters has shown that the amount of time involved in verifying academic records exceeds the time allowance they have to fill their positions more than 80% of the time. No matter if it is 1 academic record, 10 academic records, or more, The National Academic Archive Registrar provides a quick and easy way for all of your academic records to reach the potential employer within the time frame they have to fill the position.
